Delete your account & data

You can ask us to delete your Swift Support account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what gets deleted, and how long it takes — as required by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and South Africa's POPIA.

How to request deletion

1. In the app

Open the Swift Support app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your request is submitted immediately.

2. By email

Email info@swiftcare-app.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm a few details so we can verify it is really you before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate need — for example:

Any information we keep is minimised, access-restricted, and deleted once it is no longer required. Note that payment details entered with Paystack are held by Paystack under its own policies.

How long it takes

We aim to action verified deletion requests within 7 days, and to complete deletion across our systems and backups within 30 days. We will let you know once it is done. Records we are legally required to keep are deleted at the end of their mandatory retention period.

Deleting your account is permanent. You will lose access to your job history, messages and ratings, and this cannot be undone. If you only want to stop notifications or take a break, contact us first — we may be able to help without a full deletion.
